issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to calling for the entire relevant records relating to the impugned order passed by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.A2/484/2024, dated 11.07.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to conduct a proper auction for 13 lakhs worth Seemai Karuval (prosopis Juliflora ) in Athapadakki Pond, Kalayarkovil Taluk, sivagangai District with take proper legal action based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner challenges the work order issued in favour of the 5th respondent directing them to cut and remove the Seemaikaruvelam trees(Proposis Juliflora) on the ground that the work orders were issued without conducting public auction.

2. Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4 on instructions, 2/5

submitted that pursuant to the auction conducted, the work order was issued to the private respondents for a period of 30 days and the said period having expired and the work having been carried out, the relief sought for in this writ petition does not survive for further adjudication.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
