This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned G.O(Ms)No.181, Home (Cts VIA) Department, dated 25.02.2014, as the G.O is against Section 20(5) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The impugned G.O challenged in this Writ Petition was already struck down by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in P.Sathish @ P.Sathish Kumar Vs. State, represented by the Inspector of Police and another reported in 2023 (3) CTC 645. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
