O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to provide police protection to conduct temple festival thereby considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.07.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that since there existed issues between the two community people, the representation given by the third respondent was referred to the RDO for conducting peace commitee meeting.

3. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has also given a representation, dated 25.07.2024, seeking permission for conducting festival.

4. Since the representation given by the third respondent was already forwarded to the RDO, the first respondent is directed to forward the representation given by the petitioner, dated 25.07.2024 to the 2/4

jurisdictional RDO and the concerned RDO is directed to conduct peace committee meeting on 16.08.2024 and decide the issue on merits and inaccordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
