ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.115/2019 dated 15.05.2019 and to file the final report within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.115 of 2019, which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 506(i) IPC r/w. Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, on the file of the second respondent police. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 1 1⁄2 yeas, no progress has been made in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has already been completed and the final report is yet to be filed.

4. Since the investigation has already been completed and the final report was made ready, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent police to complete the final process and file a final report, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing of the final report, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
