O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide three-phase electricity service connection to the petitioner's agricultural land situated in S.No.612/27 (Patta No. 2440), Aathikadu, Thekoor Revenue Village, Tirupattur Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the fee receipt dated 18.09.2025 and the petitioner's reminder 2/6

dated 10.06.2026.

2. Heard Mr.M.Mohanasundaram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted an application on 18.09.2025, along with the requisite fee, seeking a three-phase electricity service connection in respect of his agricultural land. In this regard, the petitioner has also made a representation dated 10.06.2026. However, since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

5. The learned counsel further submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time 3/6

frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
