Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants the error that crept in during UDR to be rectified. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents points out that even before UDR, the petition mentioned survey numbers reflected the names of the petitioner and three others. In other words, on account of UDR, there was no change in the status quo and the position that earlier remain continued. W.P(MD)No.19431 of 2021 for the petitioner states that he has exclusive title and claim over a portion of the petition mentioned survey numbers on account of the purchase made by him. In that event, it is for the petitioner to establish his case only before the jurisdictional civil Court and the question of directing the District Revenue Officer does not arise at all.

3.Leaving open the petitioner's rights, the writ petition is dismissed. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The outcome of this writ petition will not any way cast any cloud on the petitioner's rights. No costs.
