ORDER

Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the writ petitioners.

2.The petitioners challenge the award passed by the Deputy Registrar Chit / first respondent herein. Since it is an appealable order before the Government, I do not propose to intervene. The petitioners have to necessarily workout their rights before the Government. 3.The learned counsel on record informs the Court that the petitioners herein will file an appeal within 14 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since there is a delay, a petition for condonation of delay must also be filed. The office of the appellate authority shall number the delay petition immediately. Notices shall be issued to the respondents in the appeal. The petition for condonation of delay shall be disposed of within a period 2/4

of six weeks. If the appellate authority condones the delay, then the stay petition in the appeal has to be taken up for disposal immediately thereafter. E.P.No.15 of 2024 on the file of Sub Judge, Padmanabhapuram shall be put on hold for a period of eight weeks from today.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 15.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No MGA Note: Issue order copy on 16.09.2025.
