The petitioner has filed this application seeking writ of Mandamus to the respondent police to grant no objection for renewing his passport. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor pointed out that six criminal cases are pending against the petitioner and among them, 5 cases are pending trial before various courts. In these circumstances the respondent police cannot grant any no objection for the renewal of passport 3.This Court has considered the rival submission made. 4.Since five cases are pending trial before various courts as against the petitioner, he has to work out his remedy only before the concerned trial courts by adducing substantial sureties for his availability for trial. 2/4

5.This Court is not inclined to grant the relief as prayed for.
