ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in connection with Crime No.2151 of 2020, dated 27.11.2020 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.2151 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 448, 380, 506(i) IPC on 27.11.2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of 10 months, there is no progress in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that so far 5 witnesses have been examined and since the accused persons were released on bail, the respondent police will complete the investigation shortly.

4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, a direction is issued to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16594 of 2021 before the concerned Court within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
