PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent under Na.Ka.P1/ 617/2018, dated 30.09.2021, pertaining to directing the 4th respondent to remove the temple and its superstructure as encroachment by wrongly classifying as Government Poromboke and to quash the same as illegal.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble The Chief Justice) Counsel for respondents states that subsequent to filing of this petition, the Tahsildar had issued notice under Section 7, followed by order under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, and petitioner has filed an appeal under Section 10 of the said Act. Counsel states, in the meanwhile, petitioner had filed a Writ Petition, which came to be dismissed vide order, dated 13.10.2023, being W.P. (MD) No.24439 of 2023.

2. Counsel for petitioner, in fairness, states that nothing will survive in the petition.
3. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) Nos.16217 and 16219 of 2021 are closed.
