O R D E R

The petitioner's brother was found missing in the year 2010, for which, he has lodged a complaint on 02.12.2022, making certain allegations as against his sister-in-law. He has filed this writ petition that his complaint, dated 02.12.2022 has not been acted upon by the respondent police.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint in the year 2022 to find out his brother, who was found missing in the year 2010. It was assigned with CSR No.408 of 2022 and on enquiry, the respondent police found that the averments made in the complaint are not correct and therefore, they have closed the complaint of this petitioner.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a 2/4

direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
