Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.63 of 2021 dated 07.06.2021 registered under Sections 447, 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC within the time framed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.63 / 2021, dated 07.06.2021 and to file the final report within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.63 of 2021, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC, on the file of the second respondent police. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 5 months, no progress has been made in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has already been completed on 15.07.2021 and the final report is yet to be filed.

4. Since the investigation has already been completed and the final report was made ready, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the final process and file a final report, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
