O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued against the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a political activist and that he has been attending the Courts regularly in all the cases and no warrant is pending against him, however, on account of pendency of Look Out Circular, it has become difficult for him to get a Passport, thereby, sought for suitable directions.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the other hand submits that at the instance of respondent No.3, Look Out Notice was issued against the petitioner on 07.01.2013 and that as per the Government Orders, prosecution has withdrawn 15 cases pending against the petitioner and still, 26 cases are pending against him
4. Considering the circumstances and on hearing of both sides, since it is alleged by the petitioner that no warrants are pending against him and the petitioner has been allegedly attending all the cases pending against him in various Courts, in case, the third respondent Police are directed to consider the 2/4
representation dated 05.07.2023 given by the petitioner to withdraw the Look Out Circular within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
