Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to give promotion to the post of Checking Inspectors based on only seniority of the employees working in the post of Special Grade Conductors/Special Grade Conductors - Level V/Special Grade Conductors - Level VI Grades and in accordance with the existing practice in the 1st Respondent Corporation and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.A.(MD).No.1138 of 2014 forbear the Respondents from filling up the post of Checking Inspectors by making selection from them employees who are working in the post of Senior conductors Selection Grade/Special Grade Conductors and having the Degree qualification, without issuing notice U/S 9(A) of I.D. Act, 1947.

JUDGMENT
