MURUGAN ...RESPONDENT/ACCUSED Prayer:This Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District to dispose the case in STC No.381 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District.

Order:This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the letter received from the Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, in D.No.480/2020, dated 07.07.2020, and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing of Mr.T.Lajapathy Roy, advocate for the Petitioner, and this Court made the following order:

By order dated 26.09.2019, this Court directed the Court below to dispose of the Calendar Case in C.C.No.381/2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

2. The Court below has submitted a letter, in D.No.480/2020, dated 07.07.2020, whereby and whereunder stating some reasons, it requested further two months time to comply with the order dated 26.09.2019 made in this Criminal Original Petition. 3.Considering the reasons stated by the Court below for extension of time, two months time is extended from today to comply with the order dated 26.09.2019, made in this Criminal Original Petition.
