ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's son namely Muthu, S/o.Pandi, convict prisoner (C.P.No.5792) now confined under Central Prison, Madurai.

2.Heard Mr.S.Srikanth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and that orders will be passed within a period of one week.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
