The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Special Revenue Inspector in the office of the third respondent seeking a Mandamus as against the third respondent to consider his representation dated 28.05.2024, to pay arrears of increment from 01.01.2023 and 01.02.2024 and revise the monthly salary.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner was on medical leave and earned leave between 01.11.2022 and 07.12.2022. Though the said leave have been approved and regularised by the authorities concerned, his increments have not been sanctioned. Hence, he has sent a representation on 28.05.2024 to the third respondent. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4
4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 28.05.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
