This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to permit the petitioner to conduct festival in 'Arulmigu Veerabagu Sambugamoorthi Temple' situated at Kalickanaicken Patti Village, Palani, Dindigul District, as per the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that earlier on a representation given by one Murugesan, permission has already been given to the villagers on 26.07.2023 to perform the temple festival from 01.08.2023 to 03.08.2023 and the festival is going on.

3. Since the permission has already been granted for performing the festival in the village from 01.08.2023 to 03.08.2023, no further 2/4

order can be passed in this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
