ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the second accused in STC No.259 of 2020 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, seeking expeditious disposal of the case.

2.On perusal of the docket order reveals that from 21.07.2023 onwards, the case is being adjourned for the purpose of issuing summons to LW1 to LW3. So far, no steps have been taken and again it is listed on 20.07.2026 for issuance of summons to LW1 to LW3. 3.Considering the aforesaid facts, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai to expedite the trial in STC No. 259 of 2020 and dispose the same on or before 31.01.2027. 4.With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
