PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's petition dated 10.07.2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. The petitioner's husband died in a quarry accident, for which, compensation was provided to his family. With regard to sharing the compensation amount, there is a dispute among the family members. Moreover, the petitioner's son and her daughter-inlaw have intimidated and attempted to evict this petitioner from her own house. On the above allegations, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police and filed this writ petition that her complaint has not been acted upon by the respondent police. 2.Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 2 to 4 and submits that the complaint of this petitioner was enquired in CSR No.319 of 2025 and the same was closed as the dispute is civil in nature.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Since it is reported that the petitioner was intimidated by her own son to vacate her house, the respondent police shall enquire the petitioner's son on this aspect and shall ensure that the petitioner is living in her house peacefully.
