Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner had earlier filed W.P.(MD)No.16937 of 2022 seeking permission to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival independently. The request was rejected and an understanding was arrived at before this Court. An undertaking was given by the sixth respondent side group also. The petitioner now alleges that the said undertaking was breached and the criminal case accused also took part in the petition mentioned temple festival.

3. If that be so, the petitioner is permitted to file a contempt petition and ask for directions therein. No separate writ petition will lie. Granting liberty to the petitioner to file an independent contempt petition and ask for appropriate relief, this writ petition stands dismissed.
