ORDER

The petitioner has given a representation on 01.08.2021 and seeks by way of this particular writ petition which has been filed in the nature of Mandamus for the consideration of the said representation by the first and second respondents more particularly by the second respondent.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the only legal heir of his father after both his parents has unfortunately died. He has also obtained legal heirship certificate from the second respondent. The property now involved is Survey Nos.267/4B, 208/2B and 245/2A with Patta Nos.369, 228 and 376 respectively. His father had obtained title by way of a settlement deed registered as early as 10.01.1929.

3. The petitioner had given a representation to the first respondent for correction of his name as the owner. It is claimed that the Village Administrative Officer of Naduvaikurchi Village had forwarded the remarks to the second respondent and the matter is now pending with the second respondent.

4. Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.

5. A direction is given to the petitioner to file a fresh representation through online and pay necessary charges within a period of two (2) weeks and thereafter within a period of twelve

(12) weeks, after issuing notice not only to the petitioner but also to any other individual who may be interested in considering the representation of the petitioner, a direction is given to the second respondent to dispose of the representation within a further period of twelve (12) weeks.

6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
