2.According to the petitioner, the petition mentioned land has been erroneously classified as panjami land. He wants the revenue record to be mutated. He had given a petition before the Tahsildar. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent submits that there are two difficulties for the writ petitioner. The first is that the Tahsildar is not the authority competent to effect re-classification and it is only the Commissioner of Land, who can do so. The second is that the land that has been classified as panjami meant for the benefit of schedule caste cannot be re-classified. I find subsistence in both the contentions. May be petitioner will have to move the jurisdictional civil Court for relief. Knocking the doors of the revenue authority may not take him any where. 4.Granting liberty to the writ petitioner to move the jurisdictional civil Court, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 02.09.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 2/4
