ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to re-issue new passport to the petitioner vide File No.MD1075170435325.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent submits that FIRs have been registered against the petitioner in the following two cases:

Considering the fact that a charge sheet has been filed and take on file before the Judicial Magistrate VI, Madurai in C.C.No.892 of 2025, there is no scope for direction to the first respondent to process the petitioner's passport application in terms of Section 6(2)(f) of the Indian Passports Act, 1967. However, it is open to the petitioner to file suitable application before the said Court for appropriate relief.
