ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to file charge sheet/final report within a time frame as fixed by this Court in Crime No.1089/2020, dated 18.10.2020 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.1089 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 406 420 and 506(ii) of IPC on 18.10.2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of one year, there is no progress in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) for the respondent would submit that within 5 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court.

4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a find report within a period of 5 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
