O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned punishment order dated 19.10.2019 passed against the petitioner. 2.Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that there is an appeal remedy available to the petitioner, if aggrieved by the impugned order. 3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would also submit that the petitioner is willing to prefer an appeal as against the impugned order.

4.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the respective contentions. Since the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent has not raised any serious objection for permitting the petitioner to prefer an appeal as against the impugned order and since no prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the petitioner to prefer an appeal, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the respective contentions is directing the petitioner to file an appeal as against the impugned 2/4

order dated 19.10.2019 passed by the respondent before the Managing Director of the respondent Transport Corporation, within a period of fifteen [15] days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said appeal within the stipulated time, the Managing Director of the respondent Transport Corporation shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, by adhering to the principles of natural justice within a period of twelve [12] weeks thereafter.

5.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 07.11.2025 Index :Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes/No MR 3/4
