ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to expedite the appeal pending on his file in Na.Ka.No.A7/3492/2024 dated 30.07.2024 and dispose of the same within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Shangar Murali, learned counsel, who takes notice for the third respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner herein filed an application before the second 2/6
respondent seeking issuance of patta in respect of 15 cents in Survey No. 249/4 in Kizhakuruchi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District and the said application was rejected by the second respondent by his order dated 14.05.2024. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 18.07.2024 and the said appeal has not been taken up for consideration till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the appeal preferred by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 18.07.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the third respondent.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
