Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Muniyandi, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.RMS.Sethuraman, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, this Court made the following order:- 1/3

This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 24.08.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.12112 of 2021, on the file of this Court.

2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner could not produce sureties before the concerned Court within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seek time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, 15 days time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
