Heard Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Suriya Ananth, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner now submitted that subsequent to the impugned charge memo, punishment has been imposed on the petitioner in the disciplinary proceedings and in due course, the petitioner proposes to challenge the punishment order.

3. Since the impugned charge memo has been culminated into an order of punishment, this Writ Petition has now become infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek reliefs including seeking for cancellation of the punishment order imposed on him in the disciplinary proceedings by filing 2/4

separate appropriate proceedings in the manner known to the petitioner under law.

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
