PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to take appropriate action against the 2nd respondent herein for running a Hotel under the name and style Courtallam Parotta Kadai situate in No. 53, Church 4th Street, T.T.Nagar, Karaikudi Town, Sivagangai District without obtaining license and without due compliance of statutory provisions and requirements based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2018.

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to take appropriate action against the 2nd respondent herein for running a Hotel under the name and style Courtallam Parotta Kadai situate in No. 53, Church 4th Street, T.T.Nagar, Karaikudi Town, Sivagangai District without obtaining license by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2018. 2.Today(21.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that in view of the proceedings of the Commissioner, Sivagangai District in Na.Ka.No.1822/2018/AH1, dated 23.10.2020, nothing survives in this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
