ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 6(4) and 7(i)(a)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Scheduled Commodities (Regulation of Distribution by Card System) Act, 1982, in Crime No. 36 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The allegation against the petitioner is that on 15.03.2022, the petitioner and two others were found transporting ration rice. A case in Crime No.36 of 2022, was registered against the petitioner.
3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that already coaccused A1 and A2 were released on bail. The petitioner is A3 in the case and he is only working as a Cooli under A2 and prayed the petitioner to be released on anticipatory bail. 4.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that A1 and A2 were arrested and relased on bail. The petitioner and others were found in possession of 3619 Kg of PDS rice, worth about Rs.1,90,475/-. The petitioner is having one previous case of similar in nature and the prosecution objected the release of the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.16063 of 2022 5.Considering the nature of offence and considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to released the petitioner on anticipatory bail. 6.Hence, this Petition is dismissed.
