Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2024 which was pending before first respondent may time stipulated by this Court.

With consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner completed B.Com(Professional Accounting) degree in the year 2018 in Madurai Kamaraj University and he applied for Junior Co-operative Auditor Page No.2/4

(Group-IIA Level) Post. He passed the preliminary and main exam. Thereafter, he called for certificate verification by TNPSC, during verification, he was rejected on the ground that B.Com(Professional Accounting) degree is not equivalent to a regular B.Com degree. In this regard, he has given a representation to the first respondent. But the said representation was not considered so far. Hence this writ petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
