This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.224 of 2019 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2. The defacto complainant James is present in person before this Court. He has been duly identified by Thiru.K.Pandi, SSI of Police attached to Paramakudi Town Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The defacto complainant states that he has no objection for quashing the impugned FIR. The parties have also filed a joint compromise https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18113 of 2021 memo dated 20.10.2021. It shall form part of this order. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
