ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.97 of 2018 dated 30.07.2018 and to file the Final Report within a time frame. 1/4
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is pending and seeks three months time to complete the investigation.
3.It is pertinent to note that the case in Cr.No.97 of 2018 has been registered on 30.07.2018 and it is pending for more than six years. Hence, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
