PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from setting up a Bus stop in the petitioner's Patta land in Survey No.244/2 of Melakulam Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2025 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to forbear the respondents from setting up a Bus stop in the petitioner's Patta land in Survey No.244/2 of Melakulam Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2025.

2. In support of the present Writ Petition, the petitioner has filed a copy of Patta No.1052, as per which, the petitioner appears to be the owner of the land in Survey No.224/2 measuring an extent of 0.41.00 hectares. However, the document, which has been filed by the petitioner in support of the present Writ

Petition, does not support the relief sought for in this Writ Petition. Thus, the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh Writ Petition.
