ORDER : The petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 02.08.2023 and the requisition letter of the Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, vide letter in D.No. 419/2024, dated 12/03/2024 and upon hearing the arguments of MR.MANIMARAN.NA, Advocate for the Petitioner, this court made the following order:- Today, this case is listed under the caption for "Extension of Time for Lower Court".

2.It is seen from the records that this Court, vide order dated 02.08.2023, directed the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.178 of 2023 within a period of six months therefrom.

3.Now, the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, has submitted a requisition letter, dated 12.03.2024 and seeks six months further time.

4. Considering the reasons assigned, the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, is hereby directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.178 of 2023 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
