This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner basing on the representation given by the petitioner dated 27.07.2023 in spite of 1/4

of which, the petitioner is being harassed by calling regularly, on account of which, he is losing his bread as he is a tender coconut vendor.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that the petitioner is a rowdy sheeter and two criminal cases are also pending against him under Section 307 of I.P.C. and that the investigation is in progress and that the petitioner has obtained Anticipatory Bail in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.9287 of 2023.

3. Considering the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to follow the procedure, in case, if the presence of the petitioner is required during the course of investigation in any case.
