ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent Police on 22.09.2024, based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.696 of 2024. However, they have not conducted enquiry and hence, she has preferred a complaint before the Superintendent of Police, Kanyakumari 1/4

District, on 30.09.2024. The Superintendent of Police has also not taken any action on the complaint. Therefore, the petitioner filed a complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai. The learned Magistrate has issued a direction to the respondent Police to take action on the complaint of the petitioner, vide order dated 10.10.2024. The petitioner claims that the order of the learned Judicial Magistrate has not been complied with by the respondent Police and hence, she has filed the present petition. 2.When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that they have conducted enquiry based on direction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai dated 10.10.2024 in CrlMP.No.9269 of 2024 and closed the same as civil in nature.

According to the learned Government Advocate they have filed the report also before the court concerned on 24.07.2025. 3.Recording the above submission, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. 05.08.
