ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned refusal Slip number RFL/Rameswaram/45/2024 dated 08.08.2024 on the file of the third respondent with consequential direction to the third respondent to register and release the settlement deed 08.08.2024 executed by the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.R.Jegadeeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that when he presented the document in respect of settlement deed for registration, the same was refused vide impugned order by the third respondent citing the pendency of writ petition in W.P(MD).No.18747 of 2024 before this Court. Hence, he seeks direction of this Court.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the aforesaid writ petition was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 05.08.2024.
6. The learned Special Government Pleader has not disputed the same.
7. On perusal of the order dated 05.08.2024 passed in W.P(MD).No.18747 of 2024, it can be seen that the said writ petition filed by the third party was dismissed by this Court on the ground that the writ petition has been filed mainly to remove the entry made in the encumbrance certificate and that relief cannot be granted by this Court. At the outset, in the present case, the impugned order passed citing the pendency of W.P(MD).No.18747 of 2024 and now, that writ petition has been dismissed by this Court vide order dated 05.08.2024. Therefore, the impugned order passed by the third respondent in refusal Slip number RFL/Rameswaram/45/2024 dated 08.08.2024 is hereby quashed and the third respondent is directed to register the document presented by the petitioner within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
9. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
