ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the first respondent dated 15.05.2015 in Japthi Ni.Mu.No.01/2015-16, Ni.Ka.No.2 along with Tha.Va.No.01/2015-16, and to quash the same as illegal.

2. It is informed that the surcharge order under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 had already been passed as early as on 23.08.2016. Pursuant thereto, an order of attachment has also been issued. However, till date, the surcharge proceedings have not been challenged by the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, there is no merit in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 20.11.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes skn 2/4
