ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a fair enquiry and to take action in accordance with law by considering the representation of the writ petitioner dated 19.07.2023 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. It is seen from the records that though the writ petitioner has given his representation as early as on 19.07.2023, even according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the same is pending with the respondent police. This Court is at loss to understand as to why the representation is kept pending for such a long time, for more than one year.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the third respondent has sent a message even in June-2024 directing the writ petitioner to pay the amount. 2/4
4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue written summons to the writ petitioner and to the private respondents for causing their appearance before him for enquiry and there is no question of orally summoning the parties to the police station and thereafter the second respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2023 and conduct enquiry and conclude the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
