The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.16 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent police.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.6412 of 2018 learned counsel on either side submitted that the matter was earlier referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and settlement was arrived at between the parties, wherein, the second respondent has agreed to withdraw the case in Crime No.16 of 2017. 3.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and as a sequel, the First Information Report in Crime No.16 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent police, is quashed and the terms of Mediation Report shall form part and parcel of this order.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
