This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the Family Court, Madurai to adjudicate and dispose Crl.M.P.No.171 of 2022 in M.C.No.153 of 2021 filed by the Petitioners under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as expeditiously.

2. As per the remarks offered by the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, the case in Crl.M.P.No.171 of 2022 in M.C.No.153 of 2021 was posted for filing counter by the Respondent on 19.11.2022.

3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the Family Court, Madurai to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.171 of 2022 in M.C.No.153 of 2021 filed by the Petitioner for interim maintenance under Section 125 Cr.P.C within a reasonable period of one or two months hereafter.

4.Considering the request of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of the case in Crl.M.P.No.171 of 2022 in M.C.No.153 of 2021 within a 2/4

reasonable period of four months from the date of entering appearance of the husband/Respondent.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
