This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide drinking water connection to the petitioner's house at 228/1, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Athikulam -Chenkulam, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, upon oral instructions given by the Block Development Officer/ second respondent herein, informs this Court that water supply would be effected to the petition mentioned house within two days from today i.e., on 19.11.2025.
