This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 Police to delete the petitioner's name from the records in respect of Crime No.208 of 2019. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is planning to abroad and on account of registering of his name in the records (website) in respect of Crime No.208 of 2019, he is not permitted to leave.
2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that in Crime No.208 of 2019, investigation was completed and the said crime is closed as "Action Dropped" and reported that they are going to file the final report within a short time.
3. Considering the submissions made by both sides and on going through the records, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to delete the name of the petitioner from the list of the accused persons, sofaras Crime No.208 of 2019 is concerned, soon after filing of the final report. No costs.
