PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue a direction to transfer the investigation to the 6th respondent Economic Offence Wing office for conducting effective speedy investigation in Crime No.20 of 2021 on the file of the 7th respondent Police Station and to direct the 6th respondent to file periodic reporting to this Hon'ble Court on the progress made in the investigation.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.20 of 2021 from the file of the 7th respondent to the file of the 6th respondent herein.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that around 24 persons have been arrayed as accused and more than Rs.25 lakhs are involved in this matter. As per the allegation, it has been stated that more than Rs.68 Crores have been misappropriated and cheated. Considering the nature of offence and the amount involved in this matter, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the 6th respondent herein may take up the investigation.

3.Accepting the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the investigation may be transferred to the file of 6th respondent by the 4th respondent herein for further investigation and let the entire file be transferred to the file of 6th respondent herein immediately.

4.With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of.
