PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to take necessary action against the fourth respondent College by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 24.08.2013. O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the official respondents to initiate action as against the fourth respondent College, by considering the representation of the writ petitioner dated 24.08.2013.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's daughter had studied B.Sc. (Physics) and applied for M.Sc. (Physics) before the fourth respondent College. She has secured higher marks, but she was 2/5

not selected and admitted to M.Sc. (Physics) in the fourth respondent College. Hence, according to the petitioner, action should be initiated as against the fourth respondent College for not-selecting the meritorious student. However, there is no allegation made as against the fourth respondent College for violation of any Rules.

3. A perusal of the representation indicates that there are no allegations that they have demanded donation from the writ petitioner or his daughter. At this length of time, question for initiating any action as against the fourth respondent College does not arise. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
