ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by her, dated 15.05.2025.

2. The petitioner submitted an application before the third respondent seeking mutation of revenue records in her favour in respect of the property situated in plot No.243 comprised in T.S.No.429 Part, Ward No.3, Illupakkudi Village, Karaikudi Corporation. The said application was rejected by the third respondent by an order, dated 21.04.2025. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 15.05.2025. The said appeal has not been taken up for consideration. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the appeal preferred by the petitioner will be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 15.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
