This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.168 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report before the concerned Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the wife of the deceased and unfortunately, her husband died in the accident. It is submitted that though FIR has been registered on 26.05.2022, no substantial progress done in the investigation.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that so far six witnesses have been examined and investigation is progressing in a right direction and requested short time for completion of the investigation for filing the final report.

4. In view of the submissions made by both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
