ORDER
The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry has approached this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the fourth respondent, who is the petitioner's wife, has lodged a complaint as against the petitioner and the same was treated as petition enquiry in CSR.No.377 of 2025. Since it is matrimonial dispute, they are intending to refer the matter to the Social Welfare Officer.
3.Since it is a matrimonial dispute, the respondent Police shall not harass the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to co-operate for the enquiry before the Social Welfare Officer as well as the respondent Police. In the event, if any cognizable offence is made out as against the petitioner, it is open to the respondent Police to register a case or otherwise, close the complaint. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
